When upcycling vintage fabrics that don’t have any composition labels and washing instructions. I can only rely on my experience and expertise to identify them. With these vintage fabrics I can not exactly tell when and where they are from but my experience let me categorize them roughly.
This fabric was probably made in eastern Germany in the late sixties maybe late seventies. The colors, textures and materials let me to come to this conclusion.

I get this fabric and clean it, then make a pattern, then I sew a bag out of it and lastly I decorate it with unique handmade tassels and charms.
